The Micro Nano Characterization facility, Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering is inviting applications for the The Micro Nano Characterization facility, Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering is inviting applications for the position of Facility technologist/Equipment Technologist.
Job Description: The selected candidate will operate and maintain Characterization tools at MNCF including train/teach users in different characterization tools and maintain all documents and records. Ensure the tool SOPs are enforced and calibration and maintenance of the tool done on time. Execute the slots for internal/external users or for projects. Discharge any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Essential Qualification:
Applicants should have completed Diploma/B.Tech/B.E/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Materials, Physics or related subjects).
Experience: Prior experience in handling characterization tools like Probe stations, Parameter Analyzer, XRD, AFM, SEM is preferred but not mandatory. A basic understanding of electrical/material characterization technique is an added advantage.
Selection Process:
Selection involves a mandatory internship process lasting 4+4 weeks. Interns will be chosen through an interview process, and successful completion of the internship will lead to a job interview at MNCF. Successful candidates may be considered for positions such as Equipment Technologist (ET), Facility Technologist (FT), or Senior Facility Technologist (SFT) with a starting salary ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.75,000 per month
